a grateful stay
friendly staff extra touch
the staff were attentive, they were really good too. extra touches included congratulations cards and petals on our dining table. the food was wonderful, with delicious evening meals and a lovely afternoon tea. i appreciated the clean spa, where staff scrubbed the jacuzzi .
the room was too hot making it hard to sleep without ac and proper ventilation. i had to keep the windows shut to prevent insects from getting in. the only fan provided was not enough to cool down the rooms, and it felt uncomfortably hot overall.

the breakfast was amazingly well-prepared with many fresh products. i found a very nice and spacious room and bathroom. a separate sitting area!!!
The spa is outside the main building. I had to walk on gravel in spa slippers in the rain.

A Good Canine-Friendly Retreat
helpful staff executive room dog treats expansive grounds
The staff were helpful and attentive, always ready to assist without being intrusive. Our executive double room was well-equipped, offering everything needed, including an iron and ironing board. Joules branded dog beds and treats were provided.. a VERY cute touch for our dog. The hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, perfect for walks.
I did notice the bar and lounge layout felt a little awkward due to the building's age and style.

friendly team warm greeting excellent attention
Finding a hotel that loves canine residents can be hard, but this one excels in treating both canines and their owners! I received a warm greeting from a super friendly team at reception. The staff asked if they should bring a bowl of water for the dog when I was ordering human food and drink. The attention to detail made a significant difference.

The front-of-house team was fabulous. They were always so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The staff goes out of their way to ensure guests have a great time. Canine visitors receive the same great levels of customer service as humans.

i found the garden quite beautiful. the restaurant food was great. the location also proved fine for daily walks on the grounds.
the reception area reminded me of walking into a corridor. i thought the decor seemed dated and tired. the room was small, although functional.
