i liked that the room was clean and the bed felt comfy. the staff helped me check out a little later. the sports facilities are well maintained.

A Good Canine-Friendly Retreat
helpful staff executive room dog treats expansive grounds
The staff were helpful and attentive, always ready to assist without being intrusive. Our executive double room was well-equipped, offering everything needed, including an iron and ironing board. Joules branded dog beds and treats were provided.. a VERY cute touch for our dog. The hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, perfect for walks.
I did notice the bar and lounge layout felt a little awkward due to the building's age and style.

Staff throughout the hotel consistently were really nice too ensure a great stay. From the warm welcome at reception to attentive service during meals, everyone provided really good customer service and care.

Canine Paradise and Human Delight!
friendly team warm greeting excellent attention
Finding a hotel that loves canine residents can be hard, but this one excels in treating both canines and their owners! I received a warm greeting from a super friendly team at reception. The staff asked if they should bring a bowl of water for the dog when I was ordering human food and drink. The attention to detail made a significant difference.

The hotel has a well-appointed health club with a very well equipped gym and a nice-sized pool area. The gym includes modern equipment. The pool is suitable for relaxed swims. The grounds are extensive and amazingly well-kept, perfect for leisurely walks.

The bar food menu offers plenty of choice, and I found the service cheerful across all areas of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a range of well-prepared options. Drinks were high quality and served with a smile and engaging conversation.

My executive room overlooked the gardens and had a perfect location near an exit door. It was convenient for quickly taking the dog outside. Joules branded dog beds, dog treats, and a feeding station made the room lovely for my dog. The room was spacious and quiet.

The front-of-house team was fabulous. They were always so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The staff goes out of their way to ensure guests have a great time. Canine visitors receive the same great levels of customer service as humans.

i found the garden quite beautiful. the restaurant food was great. the location also proved fine for daily walks on the grounds.
the reception area reminded me of walking into a corridor. i thought the decor seemed dated and tired. the room was small, although functional.
